CFB Week 4 Late

CFB Week 4 Late

The late slate article will be shorter and more like a cheat sheet. The late slate plays are a bit more clear cut than the early slate was today as far as the number of options we have.

FanDuel: 1 Cash, 2 GPP

DraftKings 1 Cash, 2 GPP

Fantasy Aces: 1 lineup.

  • Dak Prescott
  • Cody Kessler
  • Chad Kelly
  • Anu Solomon
  • Joel Stave
  • Sean White

We have several viable QB options on paper tonight, but Chad Kelly sticks out as the most realistic option industry wide where he is available at a little discount relative to Prescott and Kessler. Kessler is very efficient and has a ton of upside but I think we are better off taking a wait and see approach tonight with USC facing a very strong Arizona State defense. We still love Kessler in tournaments but prefer Chad Kelly in cash games. On multiple QB sites look to pair Kelly with guys like Joel Stave and Sean White. We don’t have much data on White other than he was a very highly touted recruit who is a more natural QB.

Running Backs

  • Nick Wilson
  • Devonte Booker
  • Dare Ogunbowale
  • Paul Perkins
  • Alex Collins

Devonte Booker is in a similar situation to Cody Kessler where both players have elevated price tags that make them most appropriate for tournaments. Booker does make one of the best contrarian cash plays because of the price point if you want to spend at running back and save at WR. Nick Wilson is the high end guy we are most likely to pay up for. Wilson looks to be the #1 feature back for Arizona and he offers top play upside at a nice discount to Booker.

Dare Ogunbowale is a near must play for the late slate since there is a severe lack of reliable value in this slate. Ogunbowale gets a nice matchup and is minimum price… lock him in and move on.

Wide Receivers

  • JuJu Smith
  • Christian Kirk
  • D.J. Foster
  • Laquon Treadwell
  • J.D. McKissic
  • Byron Marshall
  • Johnny Jackson – DK Only

JuJu Smith is a guy you’re probably used to seeing since we use him every week on late slates. The price tag still hasn’t caught up to the production. Smith is one of the best targets at WR on this slate and should be used in your cash games.

Christian Kirk – Kirk is a guy whose price has caught up with his production but he remains a fine play on a slate with limited options.

Tight Ends

  • Hunter Henry
  • Evan Engram
  • Kody Kohl
  • Gus Walley

Hunter Henry is the top play in projection and is ultimately the guy with the lowest floor but you’re going to have to pay up for it. Kody Kohl and Gus Walley are the two best value plays at tight end. Generally we want to go value at tight end.
