Welcome to the RotoMinds NFL Field Report where we will take a look at ownership levels in Thursday Night GPP’s on FanDuel. This week we will be using results from the $300k NFL Rush which is a 68,965 entry tournament with a $5 entry fee.

Drew Brees is the obvious popular play this week with most projection models projecting Drew Brees near the top at home against the Bucs. The number on Brees is likely to rise closer to 20-22% by the time the Sunday Million locks. We expect a slight uptick in Bradford as we are projecting right at 10% on Sunday. Tony Romo is pretty clearly under valued with the increase in pace against the Eagles.
Carlos Hyde is 34.3% owned in Thursday GPP’s and we are projecting a Sunday Million ownership of just over 40% owned. Jamaal Charles was just over 13% owned so we expect a good % of that moves to Forte/Lynch area where we are projecting 13-15% on Forte and 11% on Marshawn Lynch on Sunday. Ameer Abdullah comes in with 13% ownership which is too high for us so that is another fade this week.
|Odell Beckham Jr.||9.00%|
The field is definitely on the top tier receiving options with FanDuel’s pricing/roster set up. Julio Jones, Antonio Brown and Jordan Matthews are all over 20% on Thursday so you can bet they will all before over 20 and possibly approaching 25% owned each on Sunday. Odell Beckham Jr. is the most under valued WR in this group relative to the other options in his pricing tier. This week will be very tricky with which guys to fade and which guys to load up on.
Travis Kelce was 14.3% owned in Thursday leagues so we can expect a small change on Sunday. Most of the change we will see Sunday will be sprinkled between Jason Witten, Tyler Eifert and Rob Gronkowski. Greg Olsen is by far the most under valued in the Thursday leagues at Tight End.
The Rams and the Dolphins are the top two defenses in our projection model so this isn’t shocking to seem them have the highest ownership levels in Thursday leagues. When the Chiefs and Broncos drop out we expect STL to be right at 20% by Sunday.
